The growing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) generation, causes different problematics that affect the quality of many living beings and their environment, such as disease transmission, soils and bodies of water contamination, biogases generation that increase the global temperature, among others, whereby, its decrease is a very important subject that must be done as soon as possible.

The MSW go through three fundamental phases: generation, collecting and transferring, and its final destination. Almost all of the guvernamental politics in Latinoamerica focus its attention to the second and third phases, consequently what would be the problem origin is not having the importance that it deserves, this is directly related to the education about garbage and the culture of garbage, which groups a behavioral sphere (that expresses habits, traditions and customs), and a cognitive sphere (attitudes, perceptions, beliefs, etc.)

Today the population of Mexico is taking action against topics related to environmental deterioration, nevertheless, this particular subject still needs this little push to become a habit amongst the society.
Therefore, for us and our project it’s a goal to propose a feasible way and solution to help people (from a young age) to establish the habit and culture of sorting, to make it something friendly and beneficial to all of our communities.
