During the pandemic in 2020, people started to consume more food from delivery apps, supermarkets, restaurants, and e-commerce platforms without considering the environmental effects and pollution they caused. This is why Altepe is born.

What do we do? We are seeking to generate a movement for promoting local goods consumption and sustainable articles that can benefit our health and the environment.

What are we? Altepe consists of a local campaign that sells a sustainable packaging kit that serves as a replacement for single-use plastic products and a generator of a circular economy system between local shops and consumers. All the items included are made from locally sourced and sustainable materials that are meant to be plentifully reused, optimizing the 3rs culture (reuse, reduce, and recycle).

How it works: When you buy your kit, you immediately receive a discount from licensed shops, and the benefit to know you are promoting sustainable activities in your community, as well as supporting local sourcing and consumption.

Our value: Supporting local shops, organic producers, and small commerce artisans, instead of the chain supermarket industry.
