who would say that I was 400 cigarette butts

Design of furniture and decorative items for the home created from the recycling of cigarette butts.

Long description

Only in Mexico, approximately five billion cigarette butts are thrown away every year, enough to circle the planet earth more than nine times, if we lined them up one after the other.
Cigarette butts are composed of cellulose acetate, a plastic that takes more than 10 years to degrade, and when in contact with water, releases a lot of toxic chemicals such as nickel, arsenic, lead, tar, and others, polluting each one from 10 liters of saltwater and up to 50 of freshwater.

We are an environmental entrepreneurship that seeks to minimize the impact generated by this waste, collecting, detoxifying, and recycling them into agglomerated boards, with which we design furniture and decorative objects for home.
We also use other waste such as sawdust, obtaining a quality material, resistant, lighter, and above all compound of 90% of waste.

Our business model is based on the sale of our products through social media and we also design outdoor containers which we sell to companies and establishments like bars and restaurants.

We have a lot of things to improve, and we can’t do it alone, the solution to pollution will never be to recycle all waste, but today it is a necessity, that’s why we create awareness of consumption and products with impact.
