Usafi green energy does turn waste into energy by collecting disposed drums and manufacture clean cook stoves in Turkana county and produce effective cook stoves we as well turn invasive prosopis tree into briquettes.
We are a start up company with a workforce impact in Kakuma town creating employement to 28 staffs and 80% being women hence tackling SDG5 and SDG7.
We aim to expand our production through support and synergies from funding partners so as to cover huge population of 300,000 refugees and the host communities, We aim to collect the invasing prosopis by empowering locals to collect and resell to us per kg then we convert into clean fuel and we resell to the communities at affordable rate lower than ordinary charcoal so as to stop deforestation.
