Long description

The environment surrounding us is sustained by common resources that tend to go unnoticed. The natural environment such as the land, light, wind, greenery, water and ecosystem is an essential resource that continues to enrich our lives. However, how much of these natural environments achieve symbiosis in the midst of our current living environment? The answer is, it largely depends on the architectural practices and formation. In actuality, the Japanese construction industry, responsible for balancing that dependency, is producing a great amount of scrap wood unused despite the fact that they are consuming more than 40% of the domestic resources. The reality is that there is no symbiotic relationship between the resources and the environment.  “Creative Resource” runs a review of the merits of the resources that remain in hibernation in local areas as well as those being abandoned in urban centers, considers their creative reutilization for circulation, makes use of local technologies and works on the development of environmental materials. Then, using the environmental materials, we aim at achieving an environmental architecture that harmonizes organically with the environmental resources of land, light, wind, greenery, water and ecosystem. A place of new connection with the environment that utilizes these resources brings forth creative living and utilization—this is the “creative resource” we are after.   We believe that it is only by working on social challenges of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) with all of you, creating values we can all coexist with and share and Circulation material , Circulation architecture.
