Everyone knows the wastefulness of single-use items. Straws, cutlery water bottles… and solutions are created for them. However, there’s a mountain of disposable waste that is not seen by the general public. It consists of pipettes, reactor tubes, syringes and many more. Biological & medical research is a major consumer of single-use material, which causes lots of emissions and pollution.

Lots of research has become dependent on these so-called disposables, it’s being design around this wasteful practice of creating material for one second use and than discard and incinerate it. Not considering medical, chemical, agricultural but solely biological research, this results in 5.5 million metric ton of plastic waste annually, which continues to grow every year. And that needs to change!

How? By going from disposables to Sustainables!

We offers reusable material to the researcher. They perform their research and afterwards we’ll take the material in. We’ll clean them and return them to the scientist for reuse. And the circle is complete, ready for another round. This way we design the research proces around reuse, and we’ll take all the troubles away from the researcher. So they can continue their vital research but decrease their pollution and carbon footprint. This way, the better world for which they do their research, is being created right there away!
