Our Project consists of recycled plastic computer hardware and gadgets. How are we going to approach this situation, here it goes: Plastic has been a miraculous material for a lot of industries but at the same time it is something we don’t know how to deal with once we stop using that specific piece of plastic. There are projects all around the world and each of them has a different solution. We wanted to attack two problems with one solution and with this, reduce the amount of plastic residues like bottles, food packaging and other single use plastics. The first thing we are planning on making with this recycled plastic are keyboards, these hardware parts are essential for the proper functioning of the computer and it is a piece that can add aesthetically speaking to your computer. So, the idea is to create elegant and sleek recycled plastic keyboards that work as good as a new one. Usually when people think of something as recycled or been made from recycled materials, they picture something not as rich design wise as if they bought something brand new, we are trying to change that perception and design a line of computer hardware that is both recycled and stylish. We think were in time to deal with electronic residue since it barely developing, and we should pay the same amount of attention to this kind of residue since it is growing dramatically. And we are still in time to do so.
