It’s 2035.The world has become a wasteland. The corrupt politicians and businessmen have taken over. Fast fashion wastage has covered most of the dumping feilds.CO2 has increased due to burning textiles. Pollution and disease have taken over. The kids are not allowed to go outside. Neither are they able to play. To add some color in their life the make their own clothes from waste textiles and promise a new beginning being sustainable and environmentally friendly.

My designs are ready to wear and can be easily mass produced. Even though mass production is the biggest cause of textile waste, we can ethically produce my designs for a lower environmental impact. All the textile should be sourced from garments who sell their textiles for minor errors. This error should me transparent for the customers. All the patchwork and lining should be made from leftover pattern wastage. Every design should have a detailed label of usage and how return to the store after use. And all the detailed work in my designs should be toned down and reduced.

Sustainable fashion to me means creating less wastage from the idea to production process. and creating things that have an impact on the customer. It means creating high quality pieces that people want to hand over to their grandchildren. It means taking care of the environment and the people. I want to be a sustainable fashion designer because being from Bangladesh I have seen the horror and injustice in the garments sector.
