Using organic waste to revive soil
Long description
We at ‘Happy Soil’ believe Soil was, is and will always be the lifeblood of human civilizations. Since we are also aware that ignoring soil health is tantamount to digging our own grave in the long run, the chief aim of our project will be to identify fallow lands in urban areas, prepare a suitable plan and design to revive the soil in the identified areas on a case-by-case basis, execute the plan and monitor it carefully to ensure project effectiveness.
As trained Permaculturists, we will endeavor to forge strong partnerships with local urban bodies including the local Government for identifying fallow lands, prepare a detailed design blueprint for reviving the soil using cost-effective regenerative practices such as heap composting, pit compositing, soak pits etc. in the identified patches of land and execute the plan by involving local people and organic waste generators like cafes, restaurants, housing societies etc. who we believe will become the impact makers and torch bearers of our vision in the long run.
