Ichich, (which means heart) honors those strong women of the Huasteca de Tantoyuca Veracruz, women united, in daily chores, mothers, wives, daughters, many times pregnant, walking barefoot, but strong and proud of their tradition and that in spite of many deficiencies, today they are part of this wonderful project where from their homes, their fields, their customs and most importantly without leaving their villages, their work makes a difference in their communities.
