Lagom Blend is a Brand concept that aims to rethink packaging and user experience in hair care, this industry relies on high-end packaging and tailored experiences, things like the smell or texture of the product are more important than environmental impact for the user. Lagom purposes a solution in which the usual single-use plastics that hold heavy products like shampoos or conditioners are replaced with a system where the user can either select their hair needs online for a unique formula or buy pre-made ones, these formulas are sent too them into ingredient packs that hold all the elements to create the ideal blend in a powdered form. These packs are designed to fit reusable bottles like a cap, this way the user can release the powder into water with an easy twist preventing spillage and guaranteeing the right proportion between water and ingredients. The next step of the experience is the “Blend”, by adding a mixer cap the user is able to mix the ingredients in a satisfying way that creates a swirl for an intriguing visual experience, this encourages the user to change from the traditional boring products to our sustainable alternative, avoiding the resistance against solutions like solid products that don’t account for satisfactory textures. The reusable bottles and caps are designed to be produced out of PVA biodegradable plastic, PLLA and Aluminum. Lagom reduces packaging and carbon footprint due to the separation of ingredients and water creating a lighter and smaller product for transportation.
