Reducing our waste not only keeps valuable materials out of landfill it also benefits the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and our need for new materials. Reducing and reusing can also save you money at home and in the workplace. I was raised from a Family of 14, that is my mom, dad and our 11 siblings. My father was a drunkard and would come drunk and having a bottle of whisky take-away almost daily. This almost turned out pit, almost that of a nearby bar due to the many bottles. This as well was a hazard to the little kids since some would get injured from playing with the bottles and breaking them. This however provided an opportunity to me. When I joined high school back in 2010, I discovered I would make some beautiful decorations from the bottles. Unfortunately my father passed on in 2013. He meant a lot to me. This meant that I would not get the bottles as I used from my dad. I therefore stopped the art and just recovered last year (2020) and have since been able to penetrate the market. Steps involved: Materials required- used wine or whisky bottles, glue, string of desired colors, buttons, used aluminium wire lod, stick for the glue application 1. Clean the bottle to ensure no sticker nor dirt is on the surface. 2. Apply some glue on the bottle surface, stick the string around the bottle. Different colors of strings can be used for decoration.
