When we notice Mexico City problems of single-use plastic waste , we saw an opportunity to use it as a raw material to create products that contribute to environmental awareness. With the thermofusion method and the use of these wastes, “NUEVA VIDA” arises, where we make a new material as similar as fabric and that is used to make upcycled products. Through them we pretend to create awareness in society so that in their day to day they put into practice these environmental actions that no matter how small they are, great changes are created.
With this idea we thought of a closed-loop cycle where each material used has a low environmental impact and that at the end of its life they return to the technosphere.
