Food is available in abundance. When do we ever have to worry about food shortages?

The answer to that question is soon. Food shortage is getting closer, also in Europe. After years of plenty, times of too little will come. Due to climate change and a growing world population, we will have to look at our food differently.

Where we currently get our food from all over the world, our goal is to bring food closer. By means of local food from the season we can eat healthier, better and tastier.

With PlantFriend we want to give you a taste of the future of food. We literally want to bring food closer
and challenge you to grow.

Together with Chefs we’re working on a new way of growing food and consuming. We’re making lightweight foldable plantpots from hemp fiber and help people grow food by the season.
