A platform that makes people aware of the amount of single use plastic that currently exists and how this can be reduced with challenges and tips.

We (Tess, Eva and Silke) are working to combat the excessive use of single use plastic. That is why we want to challenge people on April 22, 2021 (Earth Day) to take on a challenge with us! The challenge means not to buy and use single use plastic for one day. We are therefore promoting this challenge via our Instagram account: @ plastic.isnot.fantastic. we want to make young people aware of the amount of single use plastic we consume (an average of 1,000 pieces per person per year‼ ️) there are already an awful lot of solutions against single use plastic, but they are not always well known among the people. With our platform we want to give tips and promote companies and products that are against the use of single use plastic. What we also want to achieve with our platform is recognition, we want people with our challenge to find creative ways to avoid using plastic for a day and thus realize how difficult that actually is.
