Plastic ride was born as a solution to one of the largest problems we are currently facing, pollution.

I am from Mexico city, one of the largest capitals in the world, where traffic is increasing on a daily basis. Plastic ride is an e scooter made of recycled plastic, with this we create new value to the used plastic and avoid pollution made by using raw or virgin materials.

At the moment many of us are receiving packages at home. However there is a lack of understanding how this delivery negatively impacts the environment.

For example, Amazon revealed that in 2018, the emission from its deliveries was 44.5 million tons of CO2. So how are we able to reduce this and create greener and healthier cities.

PLASTICRIDE is a sustainable and circular micro electrical scooter which you can use everywhere. It is fun to ride and it can serve in multiple ways; as a gadget for tourists, as a personal scooter, and it can serve as a last mile delivery service reducing Co2 Emissions.

In the future benefits are reducing traffic, improve air quality and improve the productivity of journeys currently made on foot, bicycle, and motorcycle or in a car. Plastic Ride is fast, light weighted and sustainable. By using recycled plastic from the automotive industry   We use rapid prototype techniques, design thinking, cad cam solid software and solid plastic to validate the frame factibility, lathes, mills, cnc machining, laser cut, in order to poroduce it.
