Project E-Cyclers seeks to manage plastic wastes through recycling, with demonstrable social, economic, and environmental impact.

Long description

Human existence is one that has generated various types of wastes, these wastes emanate from human activities, agricultural and industrial activities also. This has been a problem pre-Covid19 and is the same post-Covid19. The nature of various wastes can be solid, gaseous or liquid. A recent research from researchgate.net connotes that Nigeria generates more than 67% of the overall wastes annually produced in Sub-Saharan Africa. Evidently, a major problem that emanates from this huge amount of waste has to do with- where to channel the waste products. While not properly managed, the last few decades have stock-piled several million tons of rectangular sachets of drinking water made from nylon, polyethylene, and other non-biodegradable substances that directly contributes to greenhouse effect, and thus contributes to climate change. This is a brief way of re-stating that the global goal of securing a clean environment and climate might not be clear at sight if rapid action is not taken. Nigeria has been callous about the situation, from legislative to community led approach over time. Against this backdrop we are proposing this project E-Cyclers with demonstrable social, economic, and environmental impact. This project seeks to manage waste through waste recycling. The idea or philosophy of waste recycling is to bring into the fore the idea of re-using the resources or materials that have been used for renewed use again. In our specific goal- to make them into diverse usage. Besides the business component of the project, a social impact structure which includes training youths
