BioMec produces high performance bionic prosthetics based on plastic collected from the oceans, aimed to increase access to artificial limbs at reasonable prices in a country where 95% of amputees population do not have access to prosthetics either for the high prices, long time taken for acquisition and even lack of access to healthcare services by using 3d printer and scanner technology to increase compatibility between the residual limb and prosthesis creating comfort and consuming 90% less time, while recycling plastic wastes from the ocean.

We improve people’s lives so that can feel and experience things that would otherwise be challenging without a well-designed prosthesis, giving them confidence and productivity.
