PRODUCTION OF OGRANIC FERTILIZER THROUGH EFFECTIVE MICROOROGNISM TECHNOLOGY.

Long description

More than 80 % of Rwandans depend on agriculture and most need clean and affordable organic fertilizers which currently are very on commercial scale. And urban population are facing a great challenge of domestic waste management as the only methods available is landfilling which brings many environmental and health issues. Rwanda biosolution used a combination of Effective microorganism and vermicomposting technologies to change domestic waste from cities to effective and more environmentally fertilizers to rural farmers. Since its creation in 2015, Rwandabiosolution has produced more than 500 megatons of fertilizers, more than 200 farmers and farmers cooperative, employed more 25 workers especially youth and women, partnered with one district and one TVET school and attracted more than 30,000 USD funds. What is common is chemical fertilizer which is expensive (due to Importation) and harmful to crops and environment. We address the challenge by alleviating access to organic fertilizers through co-composting with EM technology. My project is to deliver environmental friendly fertilizers to Rwandan farmers including farmer cooperatives, gardeners and individual farmers. We produce organic fertilizers through co-composting in combination with effective microorganisms (EM) technology that speed up the degradation of mixed material (sludge and solid wastes). Currently, we opened 3 to 5 sales agent offices in just two years in five districts of Rwanda as well as contributing in food security and resilient agriculture. We are happy and proud of delivering our products to farmers. My main goal is to serve as more farmers in need of our products.
