Botes para basura construidos construidos con aluminio y cartón.

Long description

The objective of this project is to manufacture efficient cans made from aluminum and cardboard packaging waste such as potatoes, cookies, candy, cereal boxes and toothpaste boxes. This type of garbage takes between 100 to 200 years to degrade, 17 billion potato bags are produced annually in the USA alone, and worldwide the numbers are increasing dramatically. Another problem with potato wrappers is that they are hardly recycled or have not found a way to be reused.

In order to find a use for the waste aluminum and cardboard wrappers, we propose the manufacture of garbage cans, whose structure will be formed by a cardboard box of 1m wide X 1.5m long x 1.5m deep, the outside will be covered with potato, cookie and candy bag wrappers, while the inside will be wrapped with cardboard boxes of cereal and toothpaste.

It was decided to use these materials because they are made of aluminum, which is impermeable to liquids and therefore does not leak, it is also shock resistant and not so easily destroyed, and they are readily available. Their fabrication is simple and the fabrication time is a few minutes. In addition to the materials, adhesive tape and resistol are also required.

In conclusion, this project seeks to give a second use to aluminum and cardboard wrappers, which due to the time they take to degrade, considerably affect ecosystems.
