Leftovers thrown

Long description

Soap is a very essential material that we use in our daily life but the majority of people who use bar soaps end up throwing away about 10% of the soap because they consider it as leftover trash and yet it is still the same material as the new soap that they buy. My project is to collect those bar soap leftovers and melt them together to form new, reusable and cheaper soaps.

I will achieve this by first spreading awareness about my project to the people by telling them the use of recycling the soaps (which include payment for collecting the soaps) as well as the loss of not doing so which includes natural resource exhaustion and environmental pollution.

I will arrange the days on which we will go to collect soaps from people’s homes and pay them according to the kilos that they have collected.  After that, I will start a workshop where the collected leftovers will be processed by melting them, leaving them to solidify and cutting them into smaller pieces.

The final stage will be finding the market for my recycled and cheaper soaps that I think will be highly bought because the prices will be lower than any other product on market and also because people will find it environmental-friendly.
