GMKR <Gomikara> is Uneven Structure Furniture that disassembles waste furniture and reconstructs it with the power of art (literature, music, etc.) and God (accidentality, mystery). It means even, the opposite of mass production, and uneven, which cannot be categorized.

GMKR has two innovative meanings.

The first is the construction of a new ecosystem. Until now, the fate of worn-out furniture has been limited to second-hand markets or dumps. Whether it sells or not was the only criterion that determines whether or not it exists. However, we have created new value in making Uneven Structure Furniture from waste furniture, which is neither reuse nor remake. We will open up new markets next to “used” and “vintage” that created value in industrial products.

The second is the discovery of the value of parts. At first glance, old, cheap furniture is unlikely to find value. However, the industrial products developed and produced by our predecessors have been manufactured with attention to detail, and many of them are highly durable and of good quality. So, by disassembling them, I found value in the “members” rather than the whole.

Human beings have created various tangible and intangible things and things in every place and era in the world in order to live better.
