1.1 BACKGROUND

SGGC-K was founded by Gisore Nyabuti 23 year old Mechanical and Electrical engineer in Kenya’s Largest slum Kibera .He is passionate about achieving a sustainable and more livable environment through waste management and ecological practices. Having been born, raised and studied in Kibera slums for more than 2 decades, we have experienced the best and worst conditions in life. I saw a need that no one was willing to sacrifice their time neither their resources. The need to make our environment better; be responsible humans wherever we are, improve the living conditions of Kibera residents by cultivating a culture of responsibility from tender ages in life. My greatest inspiration is if I don’t wake up and do it who else will.
