Opting is a team of scientists and engineer dedicated to optimizing industrial processes. Over the past decades, Opting’s team has done tremendous research and development and conducted several analyses and tests, to develop the process and the intellectual property needed to dewater and condition several types of biomass and organic waste into a fine and dry powder that can then be used to generate heat and power or to produce a wide array of products such as bio-fuel and fertilizer. The powder can be dosed and pneumatically conveyed into our patented hybrid bio fuel burner to replace or enhance existing combustion system.
BCS combined with Opting Burner
- BCS technology uses the kinetic mechanical conditioning principles of material
- The BCS allows pulverize and dry the organic material to produce a dry powder with moisture content around 10% without necessary heat injection.
- The resulting product, could be considered similar to spices at home, the material is stabilized and conserved and no longer rotten.
- Bacteria are killed by sound waves from the BCS. The result is almost odorless powder, which can be stored in silos.
- With several recipes developed by the Opting team, we can produce various bio-fertilizer with attractive high NPK content. The fertilizer can be granulated and sold, distributed to agriculture users or used in green spaces and gardening.
- Alternatively, the powder can be used as a biofuel of high-energy value in our hybrid burner using the principle of gasification of matter (syngas).
