Fill in hollow wall panels with compacted dry trash.
Long description
We use it; we have to live with it.
Houses are one of humanity’s most permanent artifacts, a natural deposit for manufactured products with shorter life spans. The concept introduces dry and clean garbage inside the walls using a proven prefabricated product, developed for construction called SIP -structural insulated panels- a free-standing structural panel designed to bear weight distributed along the walls and frames that connect and support other panels.
By substituting the eps (another nondisposable fossil-originated material) traditionally used as insulation, it is possible to fill the walls with highly compacted dry waste, wrapped by an envelope of paper, treated with fire-retardant chemicals (mostly borax – sodium tetraborate decahydrate).
From then on, all component materials should be wood-based elements that can store CO2 inside their cells.
