Creating chipboards out of the organic waste found at the Xochimilo Canals.
Long description
The Xochimilco Lake, located in Mexico City, is one of the most emblematic locations in the country. Unfortunately, its canals are filled with water lilies which are known to be a plague almost impossible to remove, this results in difficulty to navigate through the water and makes accidents more prone to happen. We decided to take advantage of this big amount of waste and create something out of it that allows us to create new projects in a more sustainable way by using materials that already exist instead of producing new ones.
