ZERO WASTE IN FASHION INDUSTRY

Long description

Fit project is envision to reduce dead stock and unwanted fabric fashion brand material waste in fashion industry .The fashion material purposely collected  to support  the needy and talented students in technical and vocational colleges in Kenya.Fit project will operates practically to reduce the emission of green house gas which occurs when this waste is deposited on the landfill.

FIT project will be purposely driven through partnership and collaboration with top brand fashion industry in Kenya such DENRI,ESKO,SUAVE KENYA JOK JOK AND ELFRIQUE who are ready and willing to support the pipeline development of creative fashion talents among youths in Kenya and empowerment.Through established partnership with colleges ,The material collected will be delivered to technical and vocational institute to support fashion needy students.FIT team plan to pilot in 10 selected technical and vocational training institute from informal urban settlements in Nairobi (kibera and mukuru )settlement which consist the  highest unemployed youths and people with low income.This project will be implemented by  leveraging existing knowledge in fashion industry from experts and youth empowerment

The project is focused to reduce waste in fashion industry and enhance circular fashion economy while supporting excellence in fashion industry.
